CPFC offers three professional membership stages:
1. Member
2. Fellow
3. Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
MEMBER MCPFC
Graduates in relevant fields with impressive track-records and sound practical experience including Professionals with 2 years working experience in financial services industry
Holders of approved professional qualifications approved by the council
FELLOW FCPFC
This is the highest grade of membership of the institute and members who have spent 3 years on full membership grade can apply for this grade
Fellow can as well be nominated by the Governing Council of the Institute, these includes Senior Executives, CFOs, CEOs, CTOs.
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL ANALYST (CFA)
The Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a well-recognised credential awarded to finance professionals who demonstrate deep expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and ethical financial practices. Recognized as one of the highest standard in the investment industry, CFAs are equipped to lead in roles across asset management, risk analysis, corporate finance, and beyond.
The Certified Professional Financial Consultants, CFA-certification programme, upholds a high standard of excellence and integrity in financial consulting. Our CFA-certified members exemplify analytical rigor, strategic insight, and a commitment to ethical decision-making.
Qualification Requirements
To earn the CFA designation, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Finance or a closely related discipline
Professional Experience: A minimum of five years of verifiable work experience in the financial services sector
Assessment & Training: Demonstrated competence through successful completion of training modules and performance in module-end assessments
